Current research evaluated the effects of CBD on 400 adults living in New Zealand. The participants were administered CBD for various ailments, including non-cancer pain, neurological disorders, and mental health symptoms.
After three weeks of administering CBD treatment, individuals who received CBD for anxiety and depression reported a significant improvement in anxiety symptoms with no adverse effects.
With these studies, CBD may potentially help treat anxiety-related disorders. However, more research is needed to confirm these findings.
How to use CBD for anxiety
