Experience the entourage effect a bit differently with this tincture that predominantly features CBG (Cannabigerol).
While this is indeed a full spectrum hemp extract containing the same amount of THC as our CBD tincture, the difference here lies in the concentration of CBG.
At a 7:1 ratio, this tincture contains 1500mg of CBG and 210mg of CBD.
Elmore Mountain Therapeutics whole plant CBD extract is a sublingual tincture intended for systemic and transdermal use. We use an organic hemp seed oil as our carrier oil. Our tincture is the perfect way to customize your CBD use.
Store at room temperature out of direct sun light. Each suggested serving packs 25mg cannabinoids (15 drops). All extracts are lab tested for potency and purity to ensure a clean and consistent product.
Intended use: Sublingual. Hold tincture under tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing.
What is CBG?
CBG is an abbreviation for cannabigerol. It’s a chemical compound (also known as a cannabinoid) found in most hemp & cannabis plants. Similar to CBD and unlike THC, CBG will not get you high.
What is CBG oil?
You can infuse CBG into any type of hemp product, but CBG oil is the most bioactive and therefore the most effective option. Our CBG oil is a full spectrum hemp extract with 7 times the amount of CBG as CBD. We use hemp seed oil as our carrier oil rather than MCT oil, as MCT oil is more comedogenic than hemp seed oil. (MCT oil has greater potential to clog your pores, and many people are allergic to coconuts, which is where MCT oil comes from)
What type of hemp strains contain CBG?
You can find trace amounts of CBG in most cannabis strains, as it is formed from CBGA (cannabigerolic acid), which is the precursor to not only CBG, but other cannabinoids like CBC, CBD, and THC. Throughout recent years, the popularity of CBG has led growers to selectively breed specific strains that express higher levels of CBG. CBG flower/buds are often very kiefy, sandy, & gritty. This makes them much less sticky and easier to harvest, extract, and work with.
What does CBG look like?
Cannabis trichomes with high levels of CBG are much whiter in color. This is why you have strain names like White Whale, Wedding Cake, Jack Frost, etc.
How will CBG make me feel?
CBG is known to have a similar effect to CBD, but without the drowsy feeling. It can have an uplifting effect and it can also help your focus and attentiveness.
Improve your mood without the grogginess
This cannabinoid is unique in that it has a mildly energizing/uplifting effect compared to the usually calming/relaxing effects of CBD. This results in increased focus and clarity (think training!).
CBG for focus & attention
CBG is also believed to naturally increase dopamine levels which help regulate attention, learning and emotional responses. Research also points to CBG having greater anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties than other cannabinoids.
How does CBG work in my body?
Similar to CBD and THC, CBG interacts with both CB1 and CB2 receptors in your endocannabinoid system. This is important because CB1 receptors are mainly located in your CNS (central nervous system). This means CB1 receptors are found in your brain and throughout your whole body. CB2 receptors, on the other hand, are mostly found in your gut and your immune system.
How do I use CBG oil? How much should I take?
So now that we know what CBG is, where it’s found, and how our body uses it, how do you take it? The best way to get the most relief & experience the full range of benefits from our CBG tincture is to let it sit under your tongue for at least 30 seconds before swallowing. This process is known as sublingual absorption and it is the most effective way to introduce CBG to your bloodstream.
