Facebook’s Ad Policy Excludes Hemp!
It’s strange that Facebook’s Ad Policy Excludes Hemp, but not CBD? As of March 2019, reports say that Facebook has 2.38 billion monthly active users. Facebook remains the top-ranked social platform to date, making it especially lucrative for small and large business owners. Social media is key to channeling new consumers to websites and to stores. Especially in this day and age when so many people are buying their needs and wants on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest etc.
And yet, hemp entrepreneurs nationwide are pushed out of this very powerful marketing platform. Outdated policies conflate hemp and marijuana. As a consequence, hemp advertising is still banned on Facebook! How is it that hemp can be legal, but still these platforms don’t recognize these changes in law? Why is it that Facebook’s Ad Policy Excludes Hemp?
Come Back Daily is proud to support the Hemp Industries Association (HIA). Their campaign is to change Facebook’s advertising policy that prohibits the marketing and promotion of industrial hemp.
Hemp is legal. Yet banned on the most important and influential social media platforms. We urge everyone to sign this petition. Further, we demand Facebook to change its approach to censorship!
