While early voting numbers are breaking records across New York state, and the election quickly approaching; people on both sides of the political divide are feeling tense, anxious, and overwhelmed right now. Election stress is very much real.

In fact, a recent survey from the American Psychological Association and Harris Poll found that 68% of American adults say that the upcoming U.S. presidential election is a significant source of stress in their life.

Whether it’s the uncertainty of who will be elected, or you were one of the thousands that turned out to the polling sites waiting hours online to cast your ballot early, here are three ways to help with election stress.

Keep Calm with CBD Oil

In short, CBD or cannabidiol, is an a cannabinoid that comes from the cannabis plant. Unlike the well-known cannabinoid Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). There are no psychoactive effects. Meaning, it will not get you high. Although research on the long term health effects of CBD is limited due to the fact that CBD research is overall a new concept, many are trying it to relieve pain, stress, anxiety and more. So, why not try CBD to help with election stress?

Tonic Vibes - Chill Tonic CBD Oil

We recommend the Chill Tonic CBD Oil by Tonic Vibes. Not only a great choice for all-natural stress relief, Chill combines CBD + Ashwagandha with Lemon Balm + Passion Flower to calm your mind, improve mood + mental clarity, reduce inflammation and regulate immune function.

Cut Loose to Music

Listening to music can benefit your overall well-being, and even improve your mood! The her new single, World Leader by Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Katie Rush, is a catchy ballad that combines elements of pop and folk-activism similar to music icons such as Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez.

World Leader is backed by both a delightful groove and a sense of purpose. Watch the music video and cut loose! And, feel inspired as your stress starts to decrease.

Get Spiritually Charged with a Reiki Session

Reiki is linked to a range of physical and emotional health benefits, including better sleep, improved mood, and pain relief. So ditch election stress and let your body return to a state of relaxation.
