Women’s History Month Panel Discussion

Women's History Month

March is the month when we take the time to look back and honor the many achievements of women through history and the vast strides made by women today.

This year Come Back Daily joined the city’s many institutions hosting events that celebrate women.

A recent panel discussion in the East Village highlighted eight women in the cannabis space. This included Dr. Monica Taing, a clinical cannabis consultant and the first pharmacist appointed to the Board of Directors of Doctors for Cannabis Regulation (DFCR).

The full lineup of female speakers includes:

Guests were eager to learn the ups and downs of starting a cannabis brand. And the challenges these eight female leaders overcame to reach their business goals.

All the panelists agreed on two important things. First, identifying your target market is vital in starting a business. Second, it’s important in today’s market to understand what is and isn’t backed by science. Being transparent to consumers about CBD is essential.

To close out the night, guests networked over CBD pre-rolls provided by Tonic Vibes. A wonderful way to celebrate female leaders that are shaping the industry.
